The ski instructors of the Ski Schools in Alta Badia, ambassadors of the culture and wine of South Tyrol.


Over the years South Tyrol and particularly Alta Badia have joined the most popular destinations for anyone wanting a holiday based on nature and sport in combination with an excellent food and wine experience. Those who come here love the delights of Ladin cuisine and the refined dishes offered by the restaurants and refuges, all accompanied by a glass of local wine.
Our instructors have had the pleasure of taking part in a training course organised by the Alto Adige Wine Consortium in association with the Sommelier Association. Starting from the basics on tasting, they explored various aspects connected with South Tyrolean wine growing, also looking at the differences and features of the different wines. The training sessions provided an opportunity to bring the world of wine towards the skiing world, making each of the ski instructors taking part a real connoisseur of South Tyrol and its wines.

The aim of the initiative is to accompany visitors not only on the slopes but also during their time at the refuges, with a special focus on responsible tasting and quality.
Thanks to the Ski Wine Ambassadors, ski enthusiasts and lovers of winter holidays dedicated to taste will now have another partner for discovering an even more exciting and pleasant way to experience winter.
